AnB School Pivoting — We Are Beginning a New Transition to Reach More Young People

Since 2023, AnB School has helped vulnerable Cambodian youth access digital careers, producing 123 graduates with stable, higher-than-average earnings. However, our traditional campus model limited our reach. To support more young people, AnB School is officially pivoting to a decentralized Micro-School model.

Why We Are Pivoting

  • Closing the K-Shaped AI Divide: As AI rapidly advances, vulnerable youth risk falling further behind due to foundational gaps in literacy and critical thinking.
  • Going Directly to Communities: Instead of waiting for students to come to us, we are taking our curriculum directly into local neighborhoods.
  • A Stage-Gated Investment Path: Learning is structured into three sequential phases—Bridge School (broad foundational literacy & AI basics), Daisy School (intensive coding), and Sandbox (freelance & startup market entry).

What We Are Doing Right Now

We are actively preparing to roll out this new model, starting in Kampong Speu—a province home to over 28,000 vulnerable youth that is simultaneously experiencing a massive surge in industrial investment.

To support this transition, we are deploying technology designed specifically for local sustainability:

  • AnB ASK: Our proprietary conversational AI coaching engine that teaches students how to ask good questions through guided counter-questions rather than giving direct answers.
  • Hub-Based Local LLM: A self-hosted, offline-capable AI environment that eliminates commercial cloud API fees and operates reliably through rural power or internet outages.
  • Paper Coding & Offline Practice: Pedagogical safety nets that force students to reason out logic on paper before running code, preventing AI dependence.
  • AX & SEL Integration: We use AI Transformation (AX) to handle routine data tracking, which triggers human-led Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) check-ins whenever a student shows early signs of struggle or drop-out risk.

Partnering for Scale We have begun active discussions with local NGOs and organizations. Partners provide the physical space and community trust, while AnB School provides 100% of the tech, curriculum, facilitator training, and quality management. Local partners do not need to hire specialized AI teachers or build technical programs.

By joining forces, we are turning technology into a bridge that helps young people think independently, solve problems, and connect to real economic opportunities.
